Barramon Sommerro, located within the renowned Sommerro Hotel, is a vibrant pintxos and wine bar inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Spain's Basque Country. Our menu features handcrafted pintxos, classic Spanish dishes, and an extensive selection of Spanish wines, creating an authentic dining experience in the heart of Oslo.

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to become part of our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality pintxos and traditional Spanish dishes in line with our recipes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver an efficient and well-organized service.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
• Follow food safety procedures and contribute to a safe and professional working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a chef in a professional kitchen, ideally with Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of pintxos and authentic Spanish cooking methods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards.
• A positive mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to the team.
• Good communication skills in English. Norwegian and/or Spanish are considered an advantage.
• A valid residence and work permit for Norway.
